Would it be a good idea to have non-contiguous mapping ?
(or do we already have it ?)
example:
create array arr4 -datatype INTEGER_32 -num_of 4
create data_point dp1 -datatype arr4
create array arr2 -datatype INTEGER_32 -num_of 2
!now map elements 0 and 3 :
create mapped dp2 -mapped dp1 -datatype arr2 -mapping_path [0,3]
(or can this already be done now)
