| Your best bet is to look in the DECWET::VB-FOR-ALPHA conference (I
think it is).
The short answer is that you don't understand the concept and it
depends what you mean by the March CD.
From your question you sound as if you want a cross-compiler. Well,
ther ain't no such thing for VB5. There's just a VB5 kit which runs on
Intel (and generates Intel executables etc.) and a kit which runs on
Alpha and generates Alpha executables.
If you went out and bought VB5 then you should have a coupon which
you send off and get a CD with an Alpha kit for VB5. If you have
the March MSDN with VB5 on it (presumably the Universal subscription)
then you're SOL. There is no coupon. However, following the pointers
in VB-FOR-ALPHA conference you can download it and install if you
have about 1/2 a gigabyte of free of free disk space.
Cheers,
Brian
