2539.0. "F1 doesn't work when multiple programs running" by PCBUOA::GARDES () Thu Apr 24 1997 10:31
I have run into a problem, and I was wondering if anyone else has seen
this, and what they did about it.
I have "help" working fine - both a menu pull-down option that I wrote
and the F1 key. The actual help file was written using Robohelp.
This is on VB4 16-bit. The help file works on Windows 95 and NT and
Windows 3.1. However, if I have another visual basic application running,
on the Windows 3.1 system only, the help stops working. When you press
the F1 key, nothing happens. When I try the pulldown menu, nothing
happens. But this all works fine on a Windows 95 system. Sound like
a bug in Windows 3.1???
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Sharon
