874.0. "Heliopause???" by POLAR::STOODLEY () Wed Nov 03 1993 12:51
         I read in an astronomy magazine somewhere that both Voyagers
    are slowly edging closer to the *Heliopause*. Voyager 1 is
    approximately 51 astronomical units from it and Voyager 2 is
    40 A.U.

         Voyager 2, at its present speed, is supposed to reach the
    Heliopause in the year 2010A.D. My question is: What exactly
    is the "Heliopause" and what does it represent in our galaxy?

    Thanks,

    Blair
