For those of you interested in obtaining a copy of the the Synthesis 
Group report, "America at the Threshold", the report is readily 
available from the U.S. Government Printing Office. The address and 
information appeared in the September/October issue of Final Frontier. 
I ordered my copy around three weeks ago and already received it. 
The report is certainly very well prepared. It is in full color and 
contains many pictures and graphics which in my opinion are excellent. 
It covers in great detail the different architectures for the exploration 
of the Moon and Mars, as well as different alternatives available, 
supporting technologies, and a lot more. I have not read it yet, but 
just skimming through it gives me the impression that I will learn a lot 
from it. I believe that it is worth the $13.00 that it cost. To order

The Synthesis Group also produced a brochure/wall-chart, stock number 
033-000-01097-4, which can be purchased for $1.25. I have not received mine 
yet, so can't comment on it.
