686.0. "Questions re. US lunar module EAGLE & ESA's Ariane V" by 45944::HUNTD (I DO believe in Concorde) Sun Dec 16 1990 09:58

I have tried to search for this information but without luck.
Can anyone tell me the following which I am trying to find out for
    a competition!

What was the weight of the US lunar module "Eagle"?

    Also:

What is the name of the Ariane 5 first stage engine?

one of these: Cryogen 1, Vulcain or Vectro.

    and

What fuel will Ariane 5's first stage use?
    one of these:

    Cryogenic liquid oxygen and hydrogen
    Liquid oxygen and kerosene
Nitrogen tetroxide oxidiser and hydrazin based compound.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I have no idea of the weight of the LEM,possibly one of the people in
the U.S. can help here. I believe that the Ariane first stage engine is
called Vulcain and that it is a cryogenic (oxygen/hydrogen)engine

Is that weight (on which planet) or mass? :-)
