Can anyone provide any information about a conversion/processing
system called VICAR( Video Image Communication and Retrieval) .
Its purpose is the conversion of planetary imaging data to a standard
format called VSFEDR (VICAR Standard Format Experiment Data Record).
From the documentation I have available it seems it was originally
developed on IBM but there is a thing called ASCII VICAR which "seems" to
run on a VAX. There also seems to be in existance documents called VICAR
software users guides .
