forgot, of interest the space platefor was launch during the same week that Soyuz TM-2 and its crew of three was returning to Earth , the crew of MIR was undocking Soyuz TM-3 from Kvant and redocking it to the front docking ball, and on the ground they are preparing a Progreess (31?) for refuling MIR. The Space Platform was reported to be carring out both earth and ocean studies.

I believe the Space Plateform is # 87-063A or NASA OBJ # 18222 Will do a visual check this weekend if possible and check for radio signals when both this obj and Sable Island ( Soviet tracking ship is dock near there) are in view of each other.
