289.0. "The AEROSPACE Conference" by ENGGSG::FLIS () Wed May 06 1987 13:57

I have gained access to a document titled: Aerospace Industry Weekly
News Highlights. This is published weekly and contains a wealth
of information concerning current developments within our space
program, as well as many other issues.

The current document is 435 lines in length, which is why I hesitate
in placing it in this conference. I have attached a copy of the
table of contents for this weeks issue for you to look at. Anybody
interested in being placed on a dist list for this publication is
welcome to contact me via mail at ENGGSG::FLIS. I would prefer
to place the document in this conference, but will await permission
from the moderator before doing that (Mr. Moderator...?)

You will notice that several topic of discussion concern topics
covered in this conference, so it should be of interest to many.

read and enjoy. Send me mail if interested. I will provide the
document as long as it doesn't impact my work schedule. Items marked
with an '*' may be of special interest.

I would like to see this in the conference. How big is this
conference currently? If size is going to prevent useful
postings I may be able to find a large enough home for it.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get this sorted out. For those
of you who responded with a desire to receive this, read on...

An AEROSPACE notes file has been created for the purpose of providing
a temporary home for large aerospace related documents. All are
welcome to participate in this conference but NOTE the following
    restrictions and rules:

    	- All are welcome to leave documents in this conference, such
    	  as USENET discussions etc.
    	- Limited discussion is welcome, (file will NOT be write locked)
but I am not intending this to become a discussion conference.
All pertinant discussion should remain in the SPACE conference.
    	- *ALL* information in this conference will be deleted on a
once a quarter basis (or once a month if traffic is heavy). If
you have interest in a document, make a copy of it. NO
INFORMATION FROM THIS CONFERENCE WILL BE ARCHIVED. Once deleted
    	  it is gone forever.
    	- Any documents exceeding 1500 lines will have to request
permission befor submission (trying to keep my sys manager
    	  off my back).

While these may seem like rude rules, they are nessesary to appease
my sys manager and allow this type of conference. If anybody has
access to MUCH greater disk space, they are welcome to take this
conference over. Till then, have fun and keep me posted of any
improvements or inovations for the conference.

The Aerospace conference is being closed down due to lack of ability to
moderate and lack of disk space. Note, also, that there has been virtually
no activity in the conference in the past 8 months due to my loss of the
aerospace newsletter.

The conference, and all data contained within, will be deleted, NOT ARCHIVED,
on 17-JAN-90.

Sorry for the unexpected loss of this conference.
