167.0. "Space Shuttle Schedules to Date" by USRCV1::CARNELLP (Fanmail from some flounder) Mon Mar 31 1986 17:39

    Does anyone have a list of the past Shuttle lanches that they can
    post? I need the mission name, date of lanch, and shuttle used.

    Thank you,
    Paul.

    I don't have such, but if you want it badly enough and get no other
    info, Aviation Week always has articles about each launch. You
    can go to the MR or ZK or... library and start going through back
    issues.

167.2I have a list thats 1-2 years oldCRVAX1::KAPLOWBob Kaplow - DDOTue Apr 01 1986 19:565
    I've got a list that hasn't been updated for a year or two. It goes
    back to the Mercury flights, and lists flight, vehicle, date, and crew.
    it lives somewhere on a RX01 floppy. I think I came across it a couple
    days ago, when looking for something else. I'll see if I can find it
    again. Anyone want to fill in the last 10 or 15 shuttle flights?

    Here is the list I have. Anyone want to fill in the launch date for the
    pre shuttle missions? (Gary: Didn't that book you were showing me have
    such a list in it somewhere?) The shuttle data is from a card I
    received from the NSI. It also listed the payload or mission objectives
    for each flight, and listed those flights scheduled but not yet
    launched, with their tentative launch dates. I entered these in the
    file, but haven't had a chance to update this file in about 2 years.
    The orbiters are (c) Columbia, (h) Challenger, (d) Discovery, and (a)
    Atlantis. Any additions or corrections are welcome. Send mail to
    CRVAX1::KAPLOW.

167.4The first cow in space?SKYLAB::FISHERBurns Fisher 381-1466Fri Apr 04 1986 12:349
	A small quibble: The third crewman for Apollo 7 was Eisle,
    not Elsie. Also, did I see Leesma somewhere rather than Lousma?

    I am quite sure that that launch date for Apollo 11 was July 16,
    1969. The lunar landing was unquestionably the 20th (etched in my mind
    forever!)

    apogee, perigee, and inclination.

    This information was compiled by Eugene R. Heitman, president of
    the St. Louis chapter of the L-5 Society. These data were assembled
    using a BASIC program written for the C64 computer and organized
    into two files, one for man-related missions from 1957 through 1975,
    and a second file for missions since 1975. As of Feb 20, the two
    files contain data on 309 missions, of which 135 were actually manned.
     These include <edited by BF>.... Anyone who has suggestions for
    improvements or wants a copy of the program is invited to contact
    Heigman my mail at 513 Selma Ave, St Louis, MO 63119-4141, or by
    phone at 314-968-0389, or through CompuServe's EasyPlex at 76317,206.
