UPDATE ON SATELLITE TRACKING SOFTWARE:

To get tracking data on ham radio, geosynchronous,  weather,  shuttle,  and
spook birds:

You will find the following files in RANI::USER$5:[COHAN.RAD]
        OR36MAIN.FOR            Tracking program
        OR36SUBR.FOR                "       "
        OR36MAIN.EXE                "       "
        ORXX*.DAT               Element set data files 
        ORXXDESC.TXT            Description of birds in ORXX*.dat
        WHATSHERE.LIS           User/release notes

     To see if the tracking program has been updated, see if the number, 36
at  this  writing,  has  been  increased, or watch the creation date on the
element  set  files.   The  element  set  data  is  updated  at   intervals
appropriate  to keeping the results accuracy within a degree or 2 of az and
el pointing angles, or 1 minute or  less  for  AOS  and  LOS.   That  means
sometimes  daily  for  the  shuttle,  to  perhaps monthly for high altitude
stable birds.

     Unless you have an interest in the source code, you need to copy  only
the  .exe  file  and orxx*.dat to your system.  Source code is provided for
info only, I intend to maintain the program, so please don't distribute any
modified  versions  of  it.  To get going do $RUN OR36MAIN, and the program
hopefully will do enough handholding to keep you going.  For easier use  of
multiple  element  set  files,  see  the  V36  entry  in the release notes,
concerning getting an element set file spec into the command line.   Output
is a file suitable for printing (80 col format.) Output file is OR36.DAT
