359.0. "Key file 2nd column - Must be a single period ? - Also the % in Desc. Column" by OZROCK::THOMAN (Just reboot & it will work again ;-)) Wed Apr 23 1997 06:22
The WWW page section 4.2 says the 2nd column
in the Key file must be a single period (".").
A now resigned employee put the name of a subset
in that column. Is that a feature of older setld
versions, and what does it mean ? Some sort of
dependency initialisation ?
Also, that same WWW page says the single percent
("%") is reserved. I see in a Key file I'm
maintaining this apears as the description for
aone of the subsets:
>SIIBASE%%VERSION%% . 2 'SII Base %SII Base Components'
(The "%%VERSION%%" is replaced during the kit build
process.)
Does that single "%" before the string SII cause
parenthesis to be added? The reason I suggest that
is once installed , the description is:
#setld -i | grep SIIBASE
>SIIBASE130 installed SII Base (SII Base Components)
Thanks
Craig.
