I've searched for all DEMFA related notes and can't find a definative
statement on this so I'm going to ask.
The DEMFA (FDDIcontroller 400) has two variants, the -AA and -AB. The
-AB notes that it is for the VAX-9000 series. Notes within this conf
state that the -AA is for the 6000 series and that the only difference
in the two modules is in the IO bulkhead connection arrangement.
What do I sell a customer who wants DEMFAs for use in VAX 7000 series,
in particular VAX 7820 and 7620. Do the 7000's share IO bulkhead
particulars with the 6000 or the 9000? The customer was told by a
reseller to use the -AB (which reads as the 9000 version) but that
implies the 7000s share IO bulkhead arrangements with the 9000. That
seems unlikely to me. Which is right?
Here are the current DEMFA descriptions out of VTX PRICE.

Same cable 4 feet from XMI to Cab kit. But different cab kit.
DEMFA-AA has H3063-A while DEMFA-AB has H3063-B.

| And do it quickly since DEMFA's were announced as end-of-life quite
awhile ago... stock is probably getting low...
