    Folks
    
    I have a problem where an Alpha 3000-600 running V3.5 of console
    firmware, and VMS V6.2. 
    
    A load of DEFTA-DA's, and only those at V2.4 or V2.6 are passing the
    self tests, that are run from the console. Any cards at V3, are not.
    
    These cards were tested without plugging them onto the network. Do the
    V3 cards require a network connection in order to pass all the tests.
