Just to check if it is a known problem (cross posted in FDDI conf)

VAX 6000-630 6.1 DEMFA with TSM 2.1 (link time is 8-Mar-1995 14:03)

Using TSM on a machine with FDDI will (sometimes) crash the system:

    15.1  DEMFA FDDI Adapter Device Fix Available
    
    There is a known problem with the device drivers for the
    DEMFA device, which may be observed while using TSM. After
    using TSM on this device, TEST commands to terminal servers will
    fail, and TSM and any other process using the MOP protocol will
    be left in RWAST state. Eventually the system will have to
    be rebooted. A new FXDRIVER.EXE image should be requested
    from the CSC to correct this problem.
    
    
    
    There is also a new FXDRIVER, dated 3-DEC-1996, which is provided by
    VAXPHV04_061.A;1
    
    Both of these kits should be obtainable from cscpt2.

Thanks for the reply, but machine is crashing (no RWAST state) and VMS is 6.2
(not 6.1) and the customer has applied VAXPHV02_062 patch.
