2134.0. "An Easy Question About DECcocentrator900MX/DEFPA wiring" by 50239::VSEMUSCHIN (Seva@COO, the Recycled Employee) Mon Sep 09 1996 11:20

    Sorry, I'm not the network specialist,
    this question can be too trivial, but I have no other possibility
    to get the answer ...

2134.1BN34D, leave A and B ports alone.31224::HARRIS_MASales Executive IIMon Sep 09 1996 16:2310
    Leave the "A" and "B" ports on the concentrator un-connected.
    Cable the DEFPA's to the concentrator with a single cable (Your
    references to ABAB is not correct on DEFPA. They actually have dual Rx/Tx
    pairs-- not Dual A/B pairs.)

    DEFPA has SC connectors, 900MX has MIC. That means BN34D is the correct
    cable to use between DEFPA and any port on the 900MX.
