Hi, One of our partners living a problem with a DEFEA-DA. The card is installed in a server running NetWare 4.x . It is attached to two different DECswitch 900EFs. The problem is after turning on the system; the system crashes down about 2-3 hours later. Other servers on the ethernet part are running but the server with DEFEA-DA crashes down. When you wait for half an hour and turm the server on again, it is running OK for another 3 hours. So, it should be a problem of heating or something else ??? Is there anybody came accross with such a problem before ? I need very urgent support because there 200 users accessing the server with DEFEA-DA Thanks Resan YUNER

If you believe that there's a hardware problem with the adapter, you can try running the diagnostics. If you believe it's driver-related, make sure that the customer is running the latest certified driver (v2.80), which you can get off the v2.52 DEFEA driver kit posted electronically. - Larry |
