Hello,
is there a version of the NDIS2 driver for the DEFPA available
that supports promiscuous mode ?
I would like to use it to set up an IRIS-PC to trace FDDI and
the version i use (NGFP250A) does not support it, at least
that is what IRIS tells me.

No. Even if there was, the NDIS 2 drivers for both DEFEA and DEFPA
emulate Ethernet, so they'd be pretty much useless under IRIS for FDDI
network analyzing since everything would be passed up as an Ethernet
frame and you couldn't see any packets larger than 1514 bytes.
A better bet is to use Microsoft's Network Monitor utility or send
Mitch enough "round tuits" so that he adds NDIS 3 driver support to
IRIS. The NDIS 3 drivers support FDDI natively and don't have the
restrictions of NDIS 2.
