| DECndu is the only way I know. What does multinet have to do with anything?
That's provides a IP stack. DECndu must be run on the system that has the DEMFA
installed in it to upgrate it. I know I have been away from it for a while, but
the last time I did it, you can not do it over the network.

| I second Brad's response. LFU cannot be used on a VAX-6000. You must use NDU,
you must run it from the system in which the DEMFA is installed, and you must
place the console mode switch into the UPDATE position. There is also some
gotcha, I forget the details, that the module will continue to execute the old
code until it is re-init'ed.

| Mike,
I think were the confusion is in .0's question is, DECndu can use IP/TFTP to
download firmware to certain devices like Hub's and hub modules. DEMFA does not
support using IP/TFTP to download firmware.

| Thanx Guys.
I think the confusion was around using IP/TFTP over the net. I'll try
DECndu on the affected system and see how it goes. I appreciate it.
