The problem that i have is the following:
My customer "Iberoamericana" University have a VAX 6310 with 32Mb RAM,
Open VMS 6.1 and recently has been introduced a DEC FDDI controller 400
(DEMFA-AA), the driver for this adapter is loaded OK, and at this point the
system is reconfigured by DECNET (the circuit was defined and enabled), at the
moment that the system is working with the new circuit (FDDI card), the
transmision rate is lower than the ethernet circuit BNA-0. By other hand ,
after of this installation, the customer have experienced problems with LAT and
Decnet, some problems are: users cannot connect to the system via LAT until
that the service LAT$LINK is dropped from LATCP, and the circuit bna-0
adjacency is down in several times. By this problems, the circuit was disabled
and the ethernet circuit was enabled again.
The customer tell to me that in a few months a Digital distributor
lend to him a memory card with 128 MB, this card was recognized in console
mode and in the OVMS environment, but after of two or tree hours the system
was reinitialized without any process that's make this behaviour. By this
thing, was decided that the memory card was out of the system VAX 6310.

I have checked in the tima articles and i found a matrix for the cosole
revision and patches, if i upgrade this, could this affect the behaviour
of the fddi controller?
in OVMS ha have checked in the SDA utility and the LSB$L_MFA_DEV doesn't exist.

Well, the first rule here is that you must DELETE the ethernet entries
from the DECnet database. There is information in the release notes
about this.
What version of DECnet are you running? If phase IV, this is probably
why you are encountering these problems.

exist any problem or an aditional restrictions with decnet phase IV and
