    Hi,
      I have a customer who is seeing some strange problems on his
    ultrix 4.4 system.  He has put a sniffer on the line and has seen 
    that some of the fddi packets are two bytes short (the last two
    bytes).  He has seen some of the ku_fastsends in the error log, but
    has the if_fta patches...Any ideas on this one.
