1839.0. "What is our definitive answer on this issue." by NETRIX::"[email protected]" (Steven Freke) Thu Oct 19 1995 12:17
Folks
Can anybody out there, help me out before I commit myself and Digital to a
definitive statement. The realease notes for openvms 1.5 for AXP state that a
DEFZA controller will work in a dec3000m. Now I assume hat since the DEFTA is
the replacement for it it will work. Am I correct in assuming this.
The reason I have had to make these assumptions is that these are the
mismanaged products that we seem to have. I have had little or no joy from the
prodcut management, and notes have revealed sweet nothing.
Not only is this making me angry, but the release notes and engineering
say two different things.
Come close of business today, unless I hear different I am going to
commit us to support on these. I hope someone else out there has had the
same level of dissaticfaction with the product development team and all those
concerned. I appologise to those who were helpful, but I have to state
that you were few and far between.

Yes. I would expect it to be listed in the VMS SPD.
