1831.0. "line FWA-0, device busy on 2100/V6.1" by ANOHAC::COMFORT (The river keeps a talkin') Wed Oct 11 1995 11:09
Hi,
We have all the bits for DEFPA on OVMS 6.1 on Alpha 2100. Everything
seems to funciton, but an interesting item has come up.
When the system is booted and DECnet starts, we get an error message
about the device being busy and DECnet fails to start. Once the system
is up and you log in, an ncp set line fwa-0 state on will yield the
error message for the first couple times we try to start the line.
Usually on the third try, the line will start and DECnet comes up. Has
anyone seen this before?
Thanks,
Dave

Yes. I don't remember what the problem was. It sounds like you figured out
the workaround.
