Hi All,
My Customer has 3 alphaserver 2100 using DEFPA-AA will connect to
DEF6M-MA. I've already done ( from notes 1607.6 ) and device online
known as fwa0.
If we try to active this device I got :
%system-F-medofl, medium is offline

What happend with this hardware....?
Any respond or pointer will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Saptono.

Does it happen on more than one of the 2100s? Can you post the results of: $ ana/sys sda> show lan/cou/dev=fra - Dick

I'd start replacing hardware. I don't know of any driver problems that would cause an init failure. The init failure says that the device failed to respond (ie. no interrupt) during initialization. Also, I assume that even though the note says DEFEA, you really have DEFPAs, since the device name is FW. - Dick
