1768.0. "PCI Mezzanine FDDI Adapter ?" by AUSSIE::KIMPTON (Stark Raving Sane) Thu Aug 03 1995 10:08

I wonder if anybody can update me with the current status of the
PCI Mezzannine FDDI adapter (DEFPZ ??). It seems to be listed
in the last Systems, Options Cat. update. But local logistics doesn't
seem to have any ability to order any yet.

Was the SOC update a bit premature ?

    Thanks

P.S. If they are around has anybody put one in a TurboLaser I/O card
    yet ? 8-) 8-)

The DEFPZ adapters have been taken over by the tech-oem group. Please
check with the DEFPA PM (George Nielsen - DELNI::G_NIELSEN) to get the
    contact info in that group.

Since this is probably the only production system that supports the
Mezzannine form-factor, it's highly likely that they've been running
    them on TurboLaser. :-)

An aside really - but I thought that if TOEM are now 'looking after' the card
it would be because of the Mezzanine slots on the AXPvme series ?

Anyways - thanks for the info - I'll check with PM
