I would like to connect 7 XMI-CI VAXcluster nodes to a Gigaswitch. Each
VAXcluster node will have an XMI-FDDI controller and be SAS
connected to a Gigaswitch 4 Port SAS Line Card. I know that the
VAXcluster software requires that all CI nodes share a 10MB ethernet
(for some reason that I do not understand). Since the Gigaswitch is
really a multi-port bridge and each VAX connected via FDDI will really
be a different FDDI ring ... will the VAXcluster software experience
problems as a result of this or not ...
Any help would be appreciated ...
