I am investigating an fddi problem with a Network Appliance file server
single attached to a DECconcentrator 500.
The file server is reporting fddi resets. The DECconcentrator 500 PHY port
is incrementing the 'Connection Completed' counter.
Does anyone have any details of what this counter means. It sounds
self-explanatory, that the connection is being lost then re-established,
but I would have expected our MCC platform to have generated corresponding
'PHY port state change' alarms and it doesn't.
Any idea's?
