We have a DECconcentrator 900MX S/W ver 1.0.0.
The module comes by default as port 1 = A port, port 2 = B port
and ports 2,3,4,5 as M ports. When I connect port 1 to a Neighbouring DECswitch
900 EF's B port and port 6 to the 900EF's A port, the LEDs on ports 1 and 6
of the 900MX conc and 900EF switch are as expected. This is how I confirmed
that ports 1 and 6 come configured for A and B respectively.
Then I tried to configure using Hubwatch ver 3.1 so that I have all 6
front plane ports to be M ports. But when I go to configure the DC900MX, I get
an empty building block screen. Is it because the S/W in the DC900MX is not at
2.8.0 ? My intention is to configure A and B to the backplane and use 6 front
plane M ports on the DC900MX.
My MAM module is at rev 3.1.

| Upgradeing DECconcentrator to ver 2.8.0 fixed the problem.
