    I have a customer that is having a problem with the DEFZA in an ALPHA
    3000/300, it won't work!!
    
    When the customer boots the system the DEFZA does not come up and run.
    They then rlogin via the ethernet interface and execute the 'ifconfig
    down' command and then the 'ifconfig up' command. Upon execution of the
    last command the system panics.
    
    The panic message is "thread_block: interrupt level call" The system is
    running Digital UNIX v3.2 (rev 214). The firmware revision if the DEFZA
    is 1.3. The console firmware on the 3000/300 is 3.2.
    
    I have checked the SPD and the DEFZA is supported. I am in the process
    of getting the core dump from the customer to have it analized by the
    CSC.
    
    Does anyone out there run Digital UNIX v3.2 with a DEFZA that is not
    experiencing this problem? Any clues?
