    I have a customer just getting into a GIGAswitch.  The have recently
    added a RS 6000 to one of the FGL-4's via a Cabletron MCA NIC.  The
    documentation says its a Motorola (read DEC) FDDI chip set.
    
    Every now and then the RS 6000 stops responding for a few minutes. 
    Other workstations on the 3 other ports continue just fine.  Has anyone
    run into problems with either this NIC card or RS 6000's on FDDI?
