On a DEC7000 running VMS ver 6.1 and DECnet/OSI ver 5.7 when we do a MC NCL SHOW FDDI STATION FDDI-0 PHY PORT * ALL we get the physical port in INTERNAL LOOPBACK. This note is an extension of note 1629. What causes this to happen unless done by an NCL command which I can't see in the NCL script anywhere ? Can a hardware or a driver fault cause this on a DEFAA card. Alphonse

1633.1 | Most probably the AXPBOOT02 patch caused the problem | GIDDAY::STANISLAUS | Tue Mar 21 1995 21:23 | 9 | |
We believe the patch call AXPBOOT02 that was installed on this DEC7000 system to fix another VMS problem created the new problem where the Operating System did not re-enable the INT ENABLE bit on the Futurebus. We are going to try and undo the patch and see if that fixes our DEFAA problem. Alphonse |
