Hi, I have a customer that want to use Single Mode Fiber to connect DEC concentrator to a remote site using other vendor's products. He just want to know our concentrator 900's specification for Single Mode Fiber. Is it light emission or laser emission? or something else. Thanks in advance.

It's laser emission. That's the only way with small core size used (typical is 8-10 micron fiber). Bob

See notes 426.1 and 1139.1 for some details on our SMF product. And, as always, a "DIR/TITLE=SMF" or "DIR/TITLE-Single" will show all entries with those titles. Dick Kirk Network Product Support
