Can anyone tell me, on the DecConcentrator 500, Show device counters I am seeing thousands of "Power Ups:" and an almost corresponding amount of "Unsolicited Resets:". Can anyone tell me what type of packets these are, I suspect they are looking at station packets or mac packets, but can anyone tell me specifically what they are looking at to increment these counters. Thanks Paul

These are not packets, they are counters incremented for the implied conditions, power ups get incremented each time power is applied, unsolicited resets are soft resets, hardware, logic, some kind of error. How are getting to these counters? What firmware revision is loaded in the concentrator? What are the module types, hardware revisions? If you want to take this off line until a resolution is found, mail me at NPSS::TAYLOR. regards, wayne |
