UCX always enables FDDI ring purger of DEFAA. Why? I need to disable it.
I have seen it on following configuration..

	DEC4000 Alpha-AXP and DEFAA
	 OpenVMS V1.5
	 UCX V3.0

I can't imagine that UCX has anything to do with it. The ring purger is normally enabled
by default in each product. If so, you can turn it off if you want to.

I checked DEFAA in our Lab and I've confirmed neither DEFAA nor UCX initiates
ring purge.
We have seen this problem at customer site who only use UCX but I must
further investigate again.

Thank you,
Naoki
