    IN the systems and options catalogue it say's that only 2 FDDI adapters
    are supported on the DEC 3000 model 600, or model 800.
    
    I need to have 3 controllers in one of the above box's.
    
    Can it be done ??
    
    Is It supported ??
    
    Has any one out there done it ??
    
    Why only 2 ??

You need to ask DEC OSF/1 product management.  
Note that you won't be able to saturate all the FDDI adapters.
