Has anyone successfully used a DEFEA under Workgroups for Windows 3.11? I'm running with the latest set of drivers from kali::pcdrivers: (2.3). When I bring up Windows, the screen goes blank and the system is hung. If I remove the "net start" command, Windows does come up complaining that the network has not been started. Thanks, John.

Which driver are you attempting to run, the NDIS 3.0 driver or the NDIS 2.01 driver? The NDIS 3.0 driver WILL NOT run, your best bet is the NDIS 2.01 driver. Be sure that you don't have an IRQ or IO conflict, this is a likely problem. doug | |||||

I'm running V2.08 of the NDIS 2.01 driver. The same hardware/driver runs perfectly under Windows 3.1/Pathworks V5.0a so I don't think there is any IRQ or IO conflict. John. |
