| | Yup but only if it is connected to 1 device and it supports FDX.
However a GIGAswitch line card connected to 2 DB900MX's as a ring
will not operate in FDX mode.

| | Also note that the max data rate out of the box is 60 Mb/s (6 Ethernet ports).
So full duplex may give you a very small latency benefit, but it cannot give
you a throughput benefit.

FDX isn't working in the DB900MX. This will be stated in the
release notes. This is a firmware bug and we hope to fix this
	in the 45 day update.
But as Paul mentioned, this feature is of very little use in this
	product.

Surely this is a confusion with the 900EF.

| | DB 900MX = DS 900EF

However the DS 900EE is a different animal.

| | Hello? Are we talkin' about the DECconcentrator 900MX FDDI Concentrator? Part
number DEF6X-MA? This is absolutely not the same thing as the DECswitch 900EF -
7-port Ethernet to FDDI Switch, part number DEFBA-MA.
Ah! I found it. The DECswitch 900EF was formly called the DECbridge 900MX.
The name was changed in the Sep-1994 time frame. Tricky stuff.
I shall adjust my search.
