We installed a FDDI-EISA Controller (DEFEA-AA) in a DEC 2000 Model 300
running OpenVMS AXP 1.5-1H1.
At the console prompt we can see the FDDI Controller, but upon booting
up we can't size up the FDDI Controller.
The maintenace manual memtioned that this FDDI is supported in SCO UNIX
environment but did not mentioned anything about OpenVMS AXP 1.5-1H1.
According to our sales and tech-edit it's suported.
Anybody out there who has ever get a DEFEA-AA working in a DEC2000-300
running OpenVMS 1.5-1H1.
Thanks

Eng-Soon,
According to the latest DEFEA driver kit (v2.3) release notes, the
driver is provided with OpenVMS AXP 1.5-1H1 or later. It's supported
on DEC 2000-300 AXP and DEC 2000-500 AXP servers with console code v1.2
or higher, and ECU v1.2 or higher. The latest driver kit can be found
at KALI::PCDRIVERS:FEAV23.ZIP;1 but this kit does NOT include the
OpenVMS AXP or OSF/1 drivers.
