Hi, If I have one of the new DECbridge 900 units (standalone configuration ie DEC onehub) and I wanted to provide as many AUI connections as possible I could use the two AUI ports off the front of the unit, switch one of the UTP ports to the ONEhub AUI connector, that would give me three AUI ports native to this configuration. Now I need more AUI connections and all I have left is the UTP ports, Is there a UTP to AUI (AUI has to be female) MAU? I need to have 6 AUI ports....... Thanks in advance Mike Beaulieu

You'd need repeaters for the other 3 ports. If you need 6 AUI ports, it may be easier just to use two bridges... FWIW, the reason why there are two AUIs on the front is that we had a product requirement to be able to replace the DECbridge 620. The two in the front plus the one on the Onehub equals what the 620 has. paul | |||||

Why not use DETTR-BB/BA ? its a 10BaseT <-> AUI repeater. |
