1280.0. "Multicast filtering" by 45266::DAVIESJ () Thu Mar 17 1994 05:02
I am trying to set up a lat multicast filter across a decbridge 510 so
that inbound packets from one port only are filtered. When I apply the
filter it only seems to work globally - I cant get it to work on a
single port. The bridge reports that "that function is not supported"
Is this a limitation of the bridge or is there another way to achive
this.

I would like to apply a filter on port A so that Terminal servers on B
cannot see any services on LAN A. No filter on port B so that users on
A can see services on B. Groups are the obvious answer but for other
reasons the customer doesnt want to use that method.
Any help appreciated
