Hi,
My customer have an FDDI ring with 4 DECconc 500 (SW 3.2.1),
9 DECbridge 610 (SW 1.3 and DEC spanning tree), 1 Cisco4000 and 10 VAX'es.
Last Friday when they added 1 Alpha 4000-600 to the ring 7 of the bridges
rebooted. The Diagnostic block in all bridges points to hardware errors
Reason Code = 0x0000207C witch is WATCHDOG_ERROR, what is this ?.
Does the Diagnostic Block contain useful data from the last crash ?.
They have never had any problems adding stations to the ring before. The cisco
box was the last station added before the Alpha, Can the cisco be the problem ?
