Is there a way to connect two DEFEA-UB EISA FDDI Cards back to Back
in a 2 node configuration ???
This is the twisted pair copper version!
It's just for test purposes, we dont want a concentrator for this.

Absolutely. Simply connect the two adpaters thru a catagory 5 UTP with
crossover. We do it all the time in the development lab.
If you are ordering cable, you will want BN25H-03 (3 meter patch cord). If you
are building youre own cable, then you must create a crossover in the cable.
The mapping is:
Pin to Pin
1 7
2 8
3 3
4 4
5 5
6 6
7 1
8 2
If you are building your own cable, please make sure you use catagory 5 cable.
Also, if you are using behind-the-wall cable keep the length to 100m or
less. If you are using patch cord, keep the length to 10m or less.
