Hi, How can the DEMFA (SMI to FDDI) controller be managed except NCP (VMS) Via per example SNMP or are there other possibilities? Or is networkmanagement taken place via other devices like concentrators etc. regards Wim

Adapters are managed via the host. So whatever management protocols the host supports... NCP for DECnet Phase IV, NCL for DECnet Phase V, SNMP possibly. Check the specific host software you plan to use. paul |
