Could anyone tell me the difference between the power supplies for the
    Chipcom online Hub.

    FD-16896-01 5017PS
    FD-40458-01 5017PS-325

I know the 325 stands for the wattage but is the 5017PS a higher
    wattage or lower.

I ask because my customer has been ordering the 5017PS instead of
the 5017PS-325 from Digital as this is the number a Digital employee
    gave him.

If the 5017PS is a lower Wattage can I expect PSU's to blow up as they
increase the cards in the Hub.

Also is there a Chipcom notes file anywhere?

| In answer to my own note,

I have been told that the 5017PS is 270 Watts.

    the 5017PS-325 is 325 Watts.

So I will have problems if we continue to swap the 325W with 270W.

However I am still confused, on my site there is a spare Chipcom PSU I
checked it just in case. The box was sealed and labeled 5017PS model
DT-A0101-AT (5017PS-2) the unit itself claims to be a model 15-00056
there is however a label on the back panel beside the volage switch
which says it is a 5017PS-325.

Externally everything points to a 5017PS but once in situ it looks just
like a 325W. I am now going to have nightmares over the possibility
that when my primary PSU fails it swaps via Rctl mod to a lower wattage
PSU which also blows up. Leaving entire floors without a network.

It seems that chipcom only make the 325Watt versions now. So although
its packaged as a 5017PS it will be in fact a 325W power supply.

However Digital still has two part numbers.
