1181.1 | FDDI w/out the fiber | QUIVER::STEFANI | Have the # for the Mars Observer? | Mon Dec 13 1993 06:23 | 5 |
| Well, we're shipping the FDDI EISA adapter with TP-PMD support (DEFEA-UB).
As for the DEFTA, I've seen protos with TP-PMD connectors, but I have
no idea on availability. Contact the PM for more details.

1181.2 | Can we get the adopter by march time frame? | TKTVFS::IDO | Naoki Ido, CSC/TOKYO, EWB, DTN 680-2456 | Tue Dec 14 1993 09:35 | 9 |
| Thank you for your prompt reply. Who is a PM for DEFTA? We are now proposing
GIGAswitch, DEChub900 with DC900, DECNIS and Alpha to one customer. DEChub900s
locate at 106 sites to configure backbones with several gigaswitchs and each
dc900 services Alphas with TP-PMD. TP-PMD on horizontal wiring is mandatory.
The network must work by end of march in 1994. So, I need to know any TP-PMD
solution on Alpha's adoptor. Any idea?
Thanks,
naoki

| Let's see...the PM for DEFTA is George Nielsen (DELNI::G_NIELSEN). So,
before I put my foot in my mouth about deliverables, you should check
with him on the DEFTA UTP schedule.
