Can somebody please give an answer to the following question:
Is it normal behaviour that the counter ifoutOctets
of a DECbridge510 (V1.3) always shows up with a value of 0?
Example:
MCC> show SNMP .ip.debet37 Interface 2 all counter
AT 4-DEC-1993 23:59:44 Counters
Examination of attributes shows:
ifOutErrors = 0
ifOutDiscards = 0
ifOutNUcastPkts = 257719734
ifOutUcastPkts = 210776231
ifOutOctets = 0
ifInUnknownProtos = 4
...
For what the counter is designed?
Any explanations would be much appreciated.

hello, isn't there anybody out?
A DECbridge 6xx shows up values for this counters.
Our customer wants to know why the DB510 doesn't show
up values.
A short explanation, please otherwise I have to escalate
it. Should this really be necessary?
Regards,
Mathilde.

I brought this toi the attention of the DEFEB code maintainer. He has
identified the problem but you should enter it so we can keep track of
its progress.
