| | >>I think I saw a table in the competitive network guide indicating that the

>>What kind of media does our FDDI NIC card (DWFEA) support?

    The card is called "DEFEA" or DEC FDDIcontroller/EISA. The current
    variants are:

    	DEFEA-AA : Single Attachment Station (SAS) Multimode Fiber
    	DEFEA-DA : Dual Attachment Station (DAS) Multimode Fiber
        DEFEA-UB     : Single Attachment Station UTP/STP (TP-PMD standard)

    They are all EISA-bus FDDI NICs.
>>Does it ship today with UTP support?
    I believe so, but please get the definitive word from the Product
    Manager, Sharon Oneill (DELNI::ONEILL).

>>The customer wants to create a Novell Netware FDDI LAN with about 15 PCs and
>>a super server running Netware V3.12. Is this driver supported on the DWFEA
>>(or will it be by the April timeframe)?
    Absolutely. We already have certified NetWare drivers for both server and
    DOS clients that work under NetWare 3.12.
