I have a couple of questions on the out of band management port on
    the DECconcentrator 500.

Is it possible to reset the counters values through this interface
without resetting the entire concentrator ?

Does this interface support any kind of unsolicited alarm notification
    mechanism ?

    Any help appreciated,

    Francis Bryan.

| The general rule for counters in all products is: if you want to know the change over time, save the starting values, read the ending values, and subtract. paul | |||||

	No

No. You really need the DECmcc Concentrator AM or an SNMP
NMS to query the device then trigger notifications/alarms
    	based on the value.
