Help, I'm stuck again Just installed VMS 5.5-2H4 on a 4200 with a DEFQA installed. Cannot get a line or circuit definition for the FDDI device in Netconfig to register. I seem to recall some logical tweaking that was required. Where is this documented and is it still required. MTS

Yes, the tweaking is required. It should be documented in the release notes for V5.5-2H4 and in the manual for the DEFQA. $ DEFINE/SYSTEM FQA0 FXA0 ! "FQB0 FXB0" for the second device Now you can run NETCONFIG etc and it will see the device, configure it, etc. | |||||

I believe this is the wrong way round. It should be DEFINE/SYSTEM FXA0 FQA0. This command i s documented in the release notes. |
