What are the pro's and con's for the following :-

	a)	DECconcentrator links the site to the FDDI ring.
		DECbridge 520 linked to DECconcentrator
		versus
	b)	DECconcentrator links the site to the FDDI ring.
DECbridge 520 linked into the FDDI ring

The b) gives extra resilience if the concentrator fails but is another
station at each site on the ring...

The b) allows Ethernet traffic to continue over the ring if the
	concentrator fails...

Any BRS (MDF) issues or restrictions ?

Are there any other pro's and con's that I've missed

The MTBF of a DECconcentrator is more than twice that of a DECbridge...

The bridge is seen as a station regardless of whether it is plugged
directly into the DAS ring or plugged into the concentrator. I'd
definetly plug it directly into the ring providing you do not have
other priority factors such as limited fiber strand resources if
    used in a distributed environment.
